Who We Are
East Range DAC provides both job training and work opportunities for over 90 employees with disabilities from the Iron Range including the communities of Virginia, Eveleth, Mountain Iron, Gilbert, Biwabik, Aurora, Hoyt Lakes, Babbitt, Embarrass, Hibbing, Chisholm, and Buhl, and their surrounding areas. Our work is done at our Eveleth center and in community settings.
What East Range DAC Offers
Community Employment
ERDAC employees/crews, along with job coaches, are hired to work in area communities in jobs such as cleaning for businesses and mowing lawns.
Contracts
We have a dedicated workforce ready to help the local businesses to fill contracts for jobs such as assembly, packaging, or collecting, and we have work crews available to go to local businesses.
Center Based-Employment
We recycle old clothing and fabrics to make rags. Customers include local businesses and mines. We also create hand-loomed rag rugs, purses, dog toys and more from the donated materials.
